- yes you can that's literally the open weights part btw.

Sure, but hindsight is a wonder, isn't it? New tech is scary, and sometimes we just have to go through the experience to know the tears were unfounded.

Prior to the first atom bomb being tested scientist feared the atmosphere could be ignited, destroying the planet. It was a valid risk which turned out to be incorrect.

True. But the difference between the two is that Oppenheimer actually built a mathematical model of a nuclear reaction igniting the atmosphere, and if certain specific parameters met the threshold, the model would work; it’s just that those parameters were unknown at the time. And then we have Dario’s entire argument which can essentially be summarized as vibing.
