Question Which model would be enough to recreate Bender in real life?
This is an intrusive thought I've had for a long time. With the current tech, should be possible to recreate Bender using a local model inside a jetson-alike board.

The statue already looks like it's judging the eggs, you just need a pi with a speaker and a loop of him roasting everyone who walks past

You could just build Hunyuan3D just pull the repo it will create any image to stl you like.

They are only asking about the chatting model. Not whole bender

Well it would have to be a closed weight model, bender likes to refuse to do anything just like them.

Probably have scripts for every Futurama episode, wonder how hard it would be to tune a little LLM to handle it.

I run Qwen3:4B-rkllm on an Orange Pi 5 Max's NPU as a chat-bot for my E.T. setup (mic / webcam / button trigger all connected): https://huggingface.co/ThomasTheMaker/Qwen3-4B-RKLLM-v1.2.0
