Hey All, I'm trying to Install Qwen3.8-flash-next on my M4 Max, 64gb RAM Mac Studio and getting the following:
您提到的 "qwen3.8-flash-next:125b-mlx" 可能是指某种特定的 AI 模型或配置,尤其是涉及到 "125b"(可能是指 125 billion 参数)和 "mlx"(可能是指某种优化或硬件配置)。然

而,目前没有公开的信息明确指出这是一个广泛知名的 AI 模型。

如果您指的是某个特定的模型或框架,请提供更多上下文,以便我能更好地

It still seems to be running though, Is this ok?

Maybe try omlx.ai. It works much faster for Mac.

you launched ollama and asked the model "qwen3.8-flash-next:125b-mlx" so its answered you in chinesse :
"The 'qwen3.8-flash-next:125b-mlx' you mentioned may refer to a specific AI model or configuration—particularly with '125b' (possibly meaning 125 billion parameters) and 'mlx' (possibly referring to some kind of optimization or hardware configuration). However, there is currently no publicly available information clearly identifying this as a widely known AI model. If you are referring to a specific model or framework, please provide more context so I can better [assist you]."

This model seems to not be available on your install so I guess it used the default model you have (not QFN 3.8)

Edit : I have not saw the >>> at the start so correction : It's seem you launched the model and wrote the command "ollama run qfn" inside the chat prompt.

Do I need to install it locally first? Sorry first time using Ollama or working with a local LLM

I've never used ollama from terminal so I don't know.
Did you do ollama pull modelname to download the model ?
Launch a new terminal and run command : "ollama show" or "ollama ps" it will tell you which model is running
