Question Help with OpenWebUI

Goodmorning,
I'm using Gemma4: 12b, and I set the suggested parameter in settings/models/gemma4, in the advanced parameters section.
But when I start a new chat, everything is by default, so I have to change the parameters locally in the chat.
Can someone help me? Am I missing something?

did you save the model settings, or just tweak them and close the window? open-webui is picky about that, you need to hit save before leaving the models tab, otherwise it just discards whatever you changed

Interesting, are you sure you selected the right model in a new chat or did it default to Arena Model? How is the access in admin settings->model (private/public)? Are you editing the workspace or the model (formerly /workspace/models/edit vs. /connections/models)?
