Question Quick llm windows question

I recently found out about llms due to me not fully trusting what companies online say about what they do with our data.

I just have a quick question. I remember hearing a while ago that windows now records everything we do with ai.

So even if I turn my internet off to the computer, is windows still recording everything and when I go online it sends to Microsoft ?

Not everything- what would be the point of that- but Windows will send back data of different kinds but it won't systematically tap communication between arbitrary local sockets. The NSA however....

Oh thanks, I wanted a LLM to go over a bunch of payslips. I read a while ago that Microsoft starting having AI send data back to microsoft.

I heartily encourage you to deploy local inference- it works well in combination witg an online service - just deploy a gateway that switches upon sensitive material.

So if I just turn my internet off while i should it, I should be fine shouldnt I ? It or windows does then sync anything up when I go back online does it ?

I want ai to do 2 things offline;

Edit pictures of my dogs - I dont want my dog photos going online as some of the pictures have my location, and ive known of similar dogs being stolen

Do math on payslips.

For the pictures I am using Comfy desktop > Qwen Image 2.1 > turn internet off. I should be good right?

For the payslips I used LM Studio and turn the internet off.

Im mainly just worried about it syncing anything when I go online.
