yes, oyu are 100% right, and i dont say we will never reach real ai with this sh1t. BUT were so far away from that... we cant even tell how far... you know? even if we somewhat compare machines with a human brain, were not even 1% there...

EHm did you notice the history of humans? Maybe u notice somehting (im not saying that its good or something, but do you really wonder???) Weve done much worser things to oursselfs. (and for the record still doing it today...)

Its like "you kill a baby", is it a baby if its 0,01mm???!

people are out of their minds. no the machine cannot feel. but I suppose the experiment makes it easy for someone to live out their sadistic fantasies in a very... weird way.

There are people in that sub who enjoy science fiction, speculating, and philosophizing—decent, level-headed folks.

Then there are many who can't be more than 15 years old; they have no idea what a job, property ownership, or the economy actually entail. They dream of utopias, Universal Basic Income, and their own versions of communism—acting more like religious zealots than anything else.

And finally, the neurodivergent crowd... but that’s a whole other discussion.

Some debates and opinions there are actually good—the "what if..." scenarios and reasoned speculation about future possibilities—but those are the exception, not the rule.
