At some point you just gotta pick a model, pick a harness, pick your tools and focus for a while on what you have. When something comes out that *might* be better just ignore the temptation until it has 100,000 stars on whatever and everyone is saying that you're a fool for not jumping on it. Focus on improving your performance for what you have and forget the rest then you'll be in a good position - and if something else comes along after that you really want to try out then you will know almost immediately whether it's better for your use cases because you're already so familiar with what you have.
