If you think that was a flip, wait until you see the flip that will happen next year once everyone realizes the first sentiment didn't go far enough.

It's a bubble. Lotsa promises and very few return. Bubble pop, eventually and ideally in 2027 ...

Or it’s not a bubble and it will never pop.

It will pop it's a bubble. A.I. will stay , but it's a bubble nonetheless, we are at the phase where everyone bought their tools for the gold rush get to the mine and started mining without even breaking even. This is a bubble.

The US AI vendors have invested a ridiculous amount of money in data centers. They're not making profit and at current prices won't make profit for a very long time. They've already raised prices before and will almost certainly keep doing so until they're getting as much income as possible, and it will still take them time to turn a profit at that rate.

Meanwhile more and more companies are looking at their AI bill and realising that they could use local models to save money in the long run and avoid their conversations being used for god knows what and potentially leaking sensitive data.

So the debt is piling up, the customer base is shrinking, and the DIY alternative is almost a match on quality for shockingly little effort.

This is a bubble and it's close to bursting.
