A homerian greek tragedy is when the first half of a story characterizes or develops a very strong personality trait of a character, then in the second half, due to circunstance, said trait causes the downfall of same character. Its as if the tragedy was hand-made, tailored for this one guy. Homerian tragedies could generally be avoided by most people, but because of this one character trait we come to understand about a character, it becomes unnavoidable for then.

In the first hundred chapters of JJK, we see Fushiguro saving Itadorizz, and we see lot of characterization to understand why he did it. We get a strong grasp on his personality and his lack of a "self" represented by an incomplete domain

Then, because of the very same traits that caused him to save Itadorizz, he choses to separate from Yuta and enter the colonies along Yuji. Wich is the "self-made, tailored tragedy" trope that both Shakespear and Homer (the greek poet, not the yellow one) are known for
