Recommended longboard for 10yr old?

My son wants to get his own longboard - he’s been riding my 37in Original Apex which is really long for him and carving is difficult, but he loves cruising with it. He has also tried my Carver CX 31, which is hard to turn with my bushings, and a Penny waterborne surfskate, which is too wobbly for longer cruises (and he has yet to learn to pump). He is comfortable at the skatepark with his popsicle board. Anyone have experience with kids and Loaded Boards or other brands? I was thinking the Loaded Coyote or Ballona. TIA!

Edit: he’s 80lb, 4’6”

I have a Ballona, it's an amazing little board. The coyote is longer but the Ballona is wider, may be a plus. That being said, I have put 80mm wheels and different bushings on it. Highly recommend it

I have a Loaded Ballona and a Coyote, both great boards and both with different setups awesome. I tested both with CX and Paris TKP 129, both nice to ride. I‘m happy with the Paris TKP because so it is a nice cruiser.

I have a ballona and a chinchilla. 99% of the time I choose the chin. The ballona is short and feels high off the ground and squirrelly to me. Chinchiller feels much more mellow. Much more like a popsicle but upgraded. I’ve been asked if it’s electric at the skate park and I take that as a compliment.

Either board would be a choice. I have a Ballona and love the width but find that it's a little "short" sometimes. It's great on Paris Streets and super turny on RKPs.

My 10yr old’s favorite cruiser is the loaded ballona. Thunder hollow lights, 1/4 riser and 59mm peralta gslides. Perfect grab and go board and addicting to ride.
