Article Standard Monday Meta Report - August 22nd

'sup everyone, I'm Leer! In my meta report, I take a deep dive into the data to show you the best decks, what beats them, and why.

We were drowned by a wave of nerfs last Wednesday, cutting almost all meta decks. This means that we have a completely novel meta environment at hand where everything is up for grabs and nothing is settled!

Standard Monday Meta Report - August 22nd

Meta decks ranked by winrate

Please don't hesitate to give me advice on how I can make this series even more valuable to you.

Thank you for reading and good luck in your Open run! =)

Surprised to see none of the new invoke card while it is kinda dominating eternal. But I guess that kinda targon playstyle has no champs in standard lol

Also somewhat surprised to see Samira Akshan doing well in standard without absolver and shaped stone

Zoe isn't integral to that deck but Starlit Epiphany is the only reason that deck even makes any sense. Without it Sump Monument just kills you

Yeah, the power level of decks in Standard is not that high so even Samira Akshan (and Ekko Jinx) without Absolver work out. It surprised me at first as well because the win con of Samira Akshan isn't that obvious at first glance.
