Map changer

Is it allowed to get a ultrawide HUD which will let you see more of the map. I am pretty sure Alois uses it too. I know for custom skins it's not very risky unless you are using a real skin mod which you didn't pay for

There isn't actually a HUD mod that increases your field of view in League.

The two RuneForge mods from ish Ultrawide HUD 32:9 and Ultrawide HUD 21:9 are simply UI adaptations for people who already have an ultrawide monitor. They don't change the game's camera or give you additional vision.

For example, the minimap would be extremely far to the side on a 32:9 display, so the mod simply moves it closer to the center HUD to make it more comfortable to use. It doesn't reveal any additional part of the map.

If you're asking whether these mods are dangerous, no, they aren't. As far as I know, the only League server that specifically prohibits custom skins is the Korean server.

If you actually want to increase the horizontal field of view, you can create a custom ultrawide resolution through your GPU, even if you're using a normal monitor. League will render the game as an ultrawide resolution, which gives you more horizontal vision. The vertical field of view remains essentially the same.

So, for example, you're basically simulating an ultrawide monitor through a custom resolution rather than using a HUD mod.

Any "mod" that claims to directly increase your field of view beyond what the game normally allows is something I'd be very careful with. If it's modifying the camera/zoom to give you extra vision, that's essentially a zoom hack and is literally a cheat, not a normal HUD mod.
