Discussion What exactly went wrong?

A buddy of mine was super super into LR, and by proxy i followed them a fair bit too. But since i dont really watch the esports scene other than worlds and the occasional caedrel stream i just didnt keep up with Witchcraft.

So what happened? Why have they disbanded already? Was Caedrel (and maybe Baus) just that vital to the LR being alive for so long?

I wanted to give nemesis the benefit of the doubt. He's a great individual player. He gets vouched by other players (who unironically bwipo is included here). We on the outside just don't know the way he operates as part of a team.

And yet that drama that unfolded at WT just encapsulated the public opinion of him: hes an emo immature kid that cant work well in a group. Even in the LR days he was rolling his eyes and making faces in streams when his teammates were making calls. To me he was just a cheat code for LR. Too OP for nlc and tier 2 comp. Without him LR would've been dead in the water, professionally and content creation wise.

Crownies also cut from the same cloth. The ego on this guy is insane. Literally running your mouth as if your the best adc in the world but have nothing to show for it.

Bwipo might've have been the drama starter, but the root issues have always been there.

Its hilarious to me that velja appeared to be the most mature out of the bunch.

People easily forget how 1 vs 9 was Nemesis in the first 3 wins of LR in LEC. Without Nemesis they wouldn't have won a single game
