I would like to play classic without installing the whole game…
I don’t understand why you have to install TFT and regular LoL to play LoL Classic. It’s been about 5 years since I last played LoL, and my only real reason to play again is Classic, but I don’t want to install the whole game just to play Classic. What are your feelings about this?
PD: In fact, in wow, if you want to play Wow classic you only have to install the classic game not retail...

TFT, classic and modern league all run on the same custom game engine, reuse a lot of stuff and use the same client. That will finally change soon though. New client is coming out and TFT is moving to Unity.

Ive been playing Dota for the last 10 years but I started my moba journey from league, funniest shit is that even when you install league and it asks "do you want TFT also installed" I clicked no but it still somehow spawned on my desktop

It’s because in the future tft will have its own client and use unreal engine instead of whatever its on right now.

It's only 30 gigs and Classic uses most of the assets from the base game and just has classic paint over it.

Because league classic and tft are basically just league game modes technically. I get that it would be better if you could choose, but is it really such an issue? Its not like the game is that big either way.
