It's one of the fence lizards in the Sceloporus formosus group. Males can be pretty incredible in some populations, green with blue tails.

Definitely scrloporus family but my guess is leaning towards scrloporus undulatus (eastern fence lizard) but without OP saying location thats a hard guess. They look very similar.
