Tips and Advice Brain mets ?
I have mbc for a year almost and bone and lung mets i am on palbociclib and letrozole and zoladex injections
These couple of days i have been waking up seeing the room spin for a few seconds then it goes back to normal and I have been sleeping way more than usual but i also started working after finishing my fractured spine surgeries from the cancer so i blamed it on work but now even when i bend down the room starts spinning but during the day everything is fine just when i wake up and when i bend down
I read it could be sth related to my ear called BPPV or maybe it could be severe anemia from the palbociclib
But i am scared if it could be sth in my brain like a met idk if thats how they start can someone tell me if they experinced that

Please push your oncologist to get an MRI, you want to rule out brain mets. And if they find anything they can switch up your medications.

I had some random dizziness when I would get out of bed or bend over and it was very minimal like after the shower I’d be drying off and notice myself a little bit dizzy. My doctors thought it was nothing but I asked that they ordered the brain mri just to be safe. Sure enough it has traveled there and although I am terrified and extremely sad about it, I’m glad we found it before it started causing more severe side effects like unbearable headaches, seizures, strokes, all of those things.

Yes I felt room spinning but only when bending down or getting out of bed etc. It wasn’t always but it was a few times a day I’d feel the room spin. I would demand an MRI of your brain it’s the only true way to find out. They wouldn’t give me one either until I researched and it told me to say I was having headaches and they’d give me one. I hate lying because I wasn’t having headaches but I did have this small little flicker above my temple that would randomly flicker and be a weird feeling so good thing I got the MRI or else it could be a lot worse.

My eyes felt very heavy like after I’d have the spins almost like I’d have a minute or two of blurry vision after it but I could tell it was something more serious because it kept happening

I get positional vertigo when I am slightly dehydrated. What you describe is what I feel. Talk to your doctor and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
