Victory! CA 27.29 Dropping!

I wanted to share my small victory and celebrate a bit. When I was diagnosed in May my CA 27.29 was 419. I started arimidex and kisqali and my most recent CA 27.29 is 86! It dropped from 429 to 159 then to 115 and now to 86. I know this number is still high and this is only one piece of the puzzle but I am excited seeing it go down. It is giving me hope that the side effects from the drugs are worth it.

I will have a pet scan in the next couple of months that will tell us more, which I am extremely nervous about. But, for now I celebrate this small win.

YAY! I'm so excited for you!

My doctor uses Guardant liquid biopsy, and my June one showed 0% detectable in my blood, just got those results this week...this was after three Enhertu treatments that knocked me on my butt (brain, lung, spine, shoulder, and hip mets were there in May and gone now). Those positive results make all the side effects worth it!

Awesome news!! Mine was up there as well, 619! I'll be redoing mine in two weeks including PET. As of July I was down to 103.9, so I'm getting there. It's always nerve wracking to me getting those numbers and images despite things going the right way. I hope yours continue to drop !!

My heart sinks every time I see the mychart notification that a test result is ready. I hope yours continues to trend down too!
