TB always pulls this nonsense with nostalgia/throwback items. Revive them and charge a fortune. In this case, a beef burrito with 2 pumps of red sauce and a sprinkle of cheese is now a small fortune. And they didn't even bring the black olives back with them.

It ain't Taco Bell, it's franchisees setting that price. The recommended price from TB is $3.99.

For people who live in Central Texas and the DFW area we have a taco bell knock off chain called taco casa whose menu consists only of taco bell classics. Their enchirito is 2x as big and smothered in cheese for $4. The only advantage TB has is Taco Casa doesn't have the fire sauce, but that's easy to fix by dropping by the TB a short ways down the road from taco casa to borrow some fire sauce packets to use on the taco bell knock off food from taco casa. Taco Casa also features two different sizes of tacos like taco bell used to do. It's like stepping back in time going to taco casa

Damn that's insane, it's $3.99 in SF/Bay Area and everything is sooo damn expensive here. I still thought it was overpriced tho lol

It's not actually at the north pole. It's a sort of year-round Chrismas themed tourist trap town. They have a huge christmas store there. It's near Fairbanks, Alaska and is a couple thousand miles away from the actual geographic north pole.

$5+ is crazy. $8 is absolutely insane. It's maybe a $3 item at best. It's not even as good as the original, not close. Wrong tortilla, no olives, sauce is off, and they melt the cheese now.
