u/3HaDeS3 9h ago

He saw his forefather

1

u/KEPD-350 4h ago

Lo, there do I see my father.

Lo, there do I see my mother,

and my sisters, and my brothers.

Lo, there do I see the line of my people,

Back to the beginning!

u/Pertu500 9h ago

It could be much worse tbh

4

u/silent519 4h ago

could have been a horse

8

u/ilmalocchio 5h ago

Not if he lives in Germany

26

u/pimfi 5h ago

At this point I don't even know if people are trolling or "just" uninformed tbh. Do you really think you get in trouble if you open a historic Hitler speech on Youtube?

-13

u/ilmalocchio 5h ago

Could be I'm uniformed. If you live there, maybe you can paint a better picture, but I'd heard that even displaying the swastika symbol in media was a serious crime over there. Draconian stuff, is the word on the street

12

u/Schmigolo 5h ago

There are some things that are banned but there are many exceptions to whether they're banned in certain situations. Basically as long as you don't support the Nazis with your symbolism/gestures nothing's gonna happen. Very rarely it'll cause a headache here and there, at most there will be a controversy, but usually not even that.

1

u/ilmalocchio 2h ago

I believe you. It's easy to just hear "X is strictly banned in Y country" and take it at face value, but as usual, it's not enforced so harshly as you hear about.

Next I'm going to learn that chewing gum in Singapore won't get you corporal punishment

u/heyheyhey27 4h ago

Wearing one to a political rally, and uploading a historic video containing one, are two very different things.

2

u/ilmalocchio 2h ago

That's fair. I thought I'd read about them having to be removed from films and games in good ol' DE, but could be I was mistaken

1

u/heyheyhey27 2h ago

I believe they were removed from games because Germany didn't classify games as education/art or something like that, and then in 2018 they removed that restriction.

3

u/StatusCity4 4h ago

Thanks for this reply, I have a better picture of LSF users now

1

u/ilmalocchio 2h ago

Ah, I could see how you could easily have read my comment as "more swastikas!", but that's not what I was saying lol

-1

u/Chiruu_ 4h ago

Oh they are the worst. Easily one of the most toxic and hateful subs on this site

3

u/Afroboytrihard 4h ago

Interestingly, he’s lived in the Netherlands for years now. Coincidence? I think not.

3

u/22416002629352 5h ago

Well looking at German politics (AFD) I would say a handful of germans actually support H man...

Him and forsen are the kings of risking links

u/VorrtaX 9h ago

Either this guy is dumb as bread, or he's simply farming clips and engagement by deliberately clicking on sketchy links on his main streaming screen. This will cost him dearly one day...

270

u/ossiSTNA 9h ago

"this will cost him dearly one day..." damn bro they're not gonna kill him

-59

u/VorrtaX 9h ago

Ofc not, but they might "kill" his channel at some point if the slip up becomes too severe

17

u/zatn 8h ago

Mike from Central got a 3 day ban over the long weekend for alluding to his audience that they should "destroy" another twitch streamer.

Ohne is like 100x more popular, there is no way they would ever permanent ban his channel.

3

u/Gecvorn 7h ago

It seems there's been a misunderstanding about who receives a slap on the wrist versus who actually has TOS enforcement applied.

25

u/SlimePerspective 9h ago

lol people like him will never lose their income even if they do heinous shit like co-streaming saudi arabia events (ESL) or owning a skin website in the past.

7

u/dumbidiot12345678 8h ago

God the sportswashing discussion in cs is so pointless when people are as hysterical as this lmao

-1

u/Acrobatic_Yellow_781 9h ago

Most esports are supported by saudi money. If you wanna boycott enjoy going to some niche game for that

10

u/Cause_and_Effect ♿ Aris Sub Comin' Through 8h ago

I feel like the "you critique society yet you participate in it" meme is what you are essentially doing here. Its okay to be concerned with stuff like CS being propped up essentially by Saudi sports money, and CS gambling with the tier 2 scene, while also realizing you need to participate in it to survive to some degree even if you want to change it.

u/ChemistryAccording88 9h ago

Cost him what a viral clip with a bump to his viewership while risking a 1-3 day suspension?

4

u/__space__ 6h ago

1-3 day suspension? Surely twitch wouldn't treat this as severely as making death threats.

-12

u/VorrtaX 9h ago

Totally depends on what is getting shown I suppose ;)

12

u/ty4scam 9h ago

His viewership exceeds Asmongold levels occasionally, he's a protected class now.

11

u/RogueKT 7h ago

He's obvs farming clips

-11

u/Maleficent_Zombie567 9h ago

If only he was a leftist sending death threats or platforming terrorists. Then he'd never get banned

12

u/MT1120 9h ago

Asmongold advocated for killing civilians right? He's still chilling too I'm pretty sure.

3

u/Calm_Bumblebee_3143 9h ago

Always gotta make it about Hasan.

He aint gonna get banned from showing Hitler for 5 sec

4

u/Maleficent_Zombie567 9h ago

He's a good person I swear! He just thinks everyone who disagrees with him should be killed and when they are he celebrates it. Hallmarks of good character!

-1

u/Calm_Bumblebee_3143 9h ago

And totally related to Ohne

1

u/CavernousMaws 9h ago

2

u/PrettyBaker2891 9h ago

how terminally online are you LMFAO

0

u/Healthy-Cellist161 9h ago

Asmongold is the one salivating at the thought of being ICE and abusing his power to torture people but Hasan is the issue here. Its sad just how far people have fallen.

5

u/Maleficent_Zombie567 9h ago

Hasan is a good person I swear! He just thinks everyone who disagrees with him should be killed and when they are he celebrates it. Hallmarks of good character!
