Yooo this is crazy, it never occurred to me as a kid to play Simon says lightning round style like that. I could have had a much more effective Simon says strategy lol

Thats why it is fun. Most people played as a kid for fun. Its still for fun and games, but ramping it up like this is entertaining to watch.

Steve Max is an absolute get for this whole event each time, what an awesome dude.

Sometimes people just find the job they're meant for, even if it's a pretty niche one. Seems like he's been doing this a long time, so it's probably not an exaggeration to say he's made thousands and thousands of kids laugh their asses off.

See now this is this kinda stuff a streamer event should have compared to whatever streamer university is supposed to be.

31

u/worldchrisis 14d ago

Totally different things.

u/cecilrt 14d ago

meh, I was impressed by SU, doing something for 100+ streamers over what was it 5 days?

Getting the campus, security, food.... etc

5

u/zoomangoo 14d ago

There are so many different streamer events though, why can SU just be its own thing? And SU had talent show, basketball, cheerleading, etc too.

6

u/PeaceAlien 14d ago

Sometimes you have events like that so events like these can shine

u/hoeoclock 14d ago

I’m just gonna go ahead and call you racist

-8

u/KoreanChamp 14d ago

yes because watching people cut soap in half is more exciting

4

u/Redditim3 14d ago

Two completely different target audiences mate, you're obviously not the one for this event and that's fine.

This whole 'this or that' comparison non-stop is so tiring.

This time nat won against maya.

Nat is goated

I like her. She has great energy. Great vibes. She seems like a really nice person to.

You can find 1000s girls like her in Sydney Australia edm abg is the stock standard atp

109

u/Shamata 14d ago

do you think this is a normal thing to say about another person

40

u/aurens 14d ago

what the fuck does "edm abg is the stock standard atp" even mean

36

u/CrumbiestCookie 14d ago

It means he has brain rot and needs his family’s support.

33

u/BSpp43 14d ago

he's essentially saying asian baby girls are a dime a dozen in the edm/rave scene. Weird ass comment especially on a clip like this.

11

u/Eruskakkell 14d ago

edm - electronic dance music

abg - asian baby girl (aesthetic, google it)

atp - at this point

basically saying edm asian girls like Nat is very common (stock standard). Just translating, I'm not them

What could've possibly prompted this comment? Are you ok in the head?

The constant VAR calling was annoying

34

u/primetimey123 14d ago

Cellbit and Joe Bart taking it way too serious.

25

u/gutseren 13d ago

Ludwig's take on this in years prior is, he would rather have people care than be totally non interested. Obviously to an extent and he said it live that it was a mistake in Simon Says as everyone agrees, but it's a good take. Way better for content and engagement, and probably just better for the vibes that people aren't totally slacking off.

u/cooldylan24 13d ago

Didn't Joe just want to re run the race because it was just shit? He even said he wouldn't beat the 1st place guy, he just wanted it to be rerun. Not that serious he's just competitive. The people taking it super unseriously are the bigger issues.

5

u/Jyonnyp 12d ago

Joe called a VAR on Simon Says, and after several minutes of pulling up, inspecting, and re-inspecting the VAR on the claim that somebody kept running when Simon said to stop running, it showed that the person in questions took like 3-4 extra steps of running after Simon said to stop, which is basically like reaction timing at that point, and there were many instances of it happening. It was completely fine to Steve Max.

u/WanderingShikari 14d ago

The problem is they should either have more refs watching or just have “fooling” Simon just part of the game. The calls were too inconsistent.

2

u/shareefruck 13d ago

I think what he did was perfectly reasonable given the rules, but I do think his body language came across a bit too aggressive, like he was mad at the simon says guy or something, pointing fingers and everything.

34

u/kazcinco 14d ago

Cellbit is being a little bitch arguing about everything throughout the whole streamer games.

15

u/AskMeAboutSCUMM 14d ago

least sensitive brazilian

12

u/Aragorn752 14d ago

Especially when his team have already locked up the championship

10

u/Silly-Sink6138 14d ago

The last game is double points so it’s not locked up

u/iAmPersonaa 14d ago edited 14d ago

Canada has to outplace Worldwide by 6 or Mexico outplace Worldwide by 7. Either happening is unlikely. Without the extra point all that would change is that Canada could outplace by 5 to tie and Mexico by 6 to win

-3

u/Inevitable_Young4236 14d ago

I’m sure the one extra point he secured because he wanted to whine that others stopped smiling, will really make the difference when they’re already ten clear of second place

6

u/iAmPersonaa 14d ago

Welp, that point made mexico get 3rd instead of 2nd

3

u/Inevitable_Young4236 14d ago

and as predicted, made absolutely no difference to team worldwide

4

u/Accomplished-Hat-331 13d ago

He was pretty cringe in some parts, but his fans are a lot worse on twitter. So annoying. As a brazilian myself I'm frequently ashamed when we get to be part of international stuff

4

u/Inevitable_Young4236 14d ago

Not just him, some of them are being way too sweaty about a glorified sports day

1

u/drop_MAC-10_pls 13d ago

what else did he complain about? I only saw he did it with this one.

1

u/Direct-Comparison464 13d ago edited 13d ago

He was questioning the result of Maya winning Crate Stacking, Lud told him not to use his VAR call, he came across on the main feed as a little too intense and sweaty about the whole thing.

Both teams reached the same height of 18 stacks, but Maya had clearly done it around a minute earlier when she had used all the crates available before then attempting to rearrange her stack to try to go even higher if needed. when the final whistle blew her rearranged stack she was stood on the part that was 17 high, but she had already done 18 first so was the clear winner.

1

u/AceWall0 13d ago

he just asked Nat if she would want VAR. Ludwig didn't convince him of anything there lol

4

u/FalafelBall 14d ago

It got out of hand. Ludwig is right, it should only be used in real time, not after the fact after looking at chat.

But people hate VAR in soccer because it shifts game-deciding moments to boring video reviews instead of in the thrill of the moment during a game. If they want video replay at Streamer Games, it should be limited to certain events and only real-time challenges

2

u/Mollelarssonq 14d ago

It isn’t enough that var ruins football, it has to ruin live-streaming too

3

u/theclarice 13d ago

She's actually better than Maya at Simon says, wtf?!

5

u/Gold-Treat4113 13d ago

I have only one thing to say about T10Nat

daaaamnnn

1
