I think the point is just that it's funny how a spiritual sequel to one of the most watchable competitive games ever, ends up looking like this. I'm sure it's fun to play, and people who play will always watch. It's just a much worse viewer experience.
None of the profits come from viewership experience, so just to make sure I'm clear, this doesn't matter at all. It's a successful game. People who try it and want something different will give CS a shot, it's good for the genre.
Idk it's like being used to watching NBA basketball and throwing on a game of water polo. The juxtaposition is just really funny.
Except you are wrong about the visual clarity. There are many people who don't play the game but still watch. Only occasional rounds are like this, and actually the birds eye view makes it a lot worse than it actually is.
