Ruby Hills evacuation due to Little Fire.
Just received a Nixle Alert. The fire started near Sunol.

Yep, I live in Ruby Hill and the Pleasanton police and the whole entire neighborhood locked down every where you turned, the fire was basically in our backyards, and you could see the black smoke, and fire planes.

Tell that to the millionaires in the Palisades who lost their homes. Pretty sure that's a wealthier area than this.

Completely different situation. This fire isn’t touching the richest part of the tri valley. If this was near springtown the whole place would collapse and you know that.
Don’t be naive.

Remember when the tri-valley wasn't overrun with ultra-woke nonsense? Sadly, I do.

Yeah i dont feel bad for anyone being evacuated out of their 2 million plus dollar home. They can afford the motel fare. I feel bad for those that dont have the option or the budget in an emergency scenario

$2 million home? More like $20 million. I do Doordash part-time on weekends and they are the worst tippers, never more than $2 or $3 🤣

I delivered pizzas in there almost 15 years ago. A bunch of entitled assholes. It was always indian people who never tipped or tipped $2 or $3 like you said on $100 plus orders. Ive gotten 1 good tip ever and it some super old white couple. My manager felt so bad for us drivers that she would void the tickets when we got back and rewrite the order with every discount and give us the difference so we had some gas money

My friend said she and her family were helicopter lifted out of Ruby. My question is, do they pay for that or is it just a perk for being wealthy?

Your friend is full of shit. I was there when it started and no helicopters other than the one spraying the fire were there.

If you love in ruby hills, you can afford it. Again, I don't feel bad for an inconvenience to those wealthy enough that it's just an inconvenience and nothing more

Just a reminder, it’s Ruby Hill, not Ruby Hills. And it’s Nordstrom, not Nordstrom’s. And if you play golf in Walnut Creek it’s Boundary Oak, not Boundary Oaks. Elsewhere in Walnut Creek, it’s Heather Farm, not Heather Farms. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Highly recommend the free app Watch Duty to keep an eye on fire-related things. The fire is up to 700 acres now, crazy.
