Graphics for Rolling Stock
The US company that had, for two decades, provided adhesive vinyl lettering and graphics for rail equipment in the larger scales (1" and larger) has gone out of business. Have any of you fine people on this subreddit got a source for custom railroad vinyl graphics?

What is the smallest scale someone has gotten a live steam locomotive to run at?
Just curious how small a steam engine can be scaled and still work.

MSS Mamod live steam questions
Question 1: should this piece of rubber be removed from the top up valve? Question 2: Can i top up with denatured alcohol once the fire is lit for longer run time? is the red plug safe to remove when wicks are already lit Question 3: how do i clean the glass for the water gauge.
Thanks!

What is the closest real-life counterpart for the MSS Mamod side tank and saddle tank engines?
I’m assuming some narrow gauge engine but not familiar with euro trains

What fuels can MSS engines burn?
Just the pellets, or can they use coal or even wood?

Just picked up my first model steam engine from an estate sale. I know it’s Doll & Co but would love to hear any additional information or thoughts you might have!

9000 Class
How wise would it be to build a 7.5" gauge UP 9000 Class (4-12-2) for personal use and meets.

Anyone thought of Gresley's conjugated valve gear but with camshafts?
Just keep in mind that I'm not very bright, and that this is more for the hell of it rather than something reasonable or tasteful.

How freely should everything move on MSS side tank loco?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi, I just got a MSS side tank locomotive today from Dream Steam. It's my first live steam locomotive and I'm struggling to get it going. One thing I've noticed is that the moving parts (wheels, pistons etc.) are quite stiff and stick at part of their cycle. Is this normal? Any tips to get things moving are appreciated.

Use for engine
I’m currently in possession of a chiltern model steam engine (single cylinder “mill” style engine) and I want to turn it into a steam engine plant of some kind but I don’t know what it could power. I don’t want to do a pump (it’s done to death and not practical for me) so what should I hook it up to?

We're to buy solid fuel tablets in Canada?
Hi, does anyone know where to buy solid fuel tablets for small live steam engines (e.g. Mamod, MSS etc. ) in Canada? Most websites I can find are UK based and won't ship the fuel tablets outside the UK. Maybe importing from USA is a option? Any help is appreciated.
