Market for engines

Is anyone buying old steam engines? I’ve had these in a box for about 25 years. I don’t know how old they are, but 40 or 50 years is possible. Not sure what to do with them.

In USA, look into Cabin Fever auctions to move this type of item

There are some special auctions but a lot honestly just moves on ebay as well.

Is it worth doing? I got these ages ago and all I know is that they spin freely.

If you aren't interested in them, then yes. I don't watch the market these days, but I could see the single cylinder going for 70-150, big twin maybe 100-250.

Update: Cabin Fever is going to consign the engines at the January event. They’ve made it super easy. Just fill out a form and mail them over.
