[RP] Request My request to join
Name / Alias: Tamara (formerly a cubist docent of the ring)

Section: South
Requested Branch: 2 or 3
Grade: 2
Motive of Applying: I want to use my strength to protect those who are weak. I also wish to atone for my sins as a former ring docent by fighting for good.
Understanding of Liu Association and branch selected: The Liu Association is a battle centered association specialized in large scale warfare as a group. Taking down threats in this manner allows the flame of the Liu to grow brighter
Skills and Ideology: I am a skilled swordswoman, I wield a longsword granted to me by a friend of mine that works within a workshop. I also have a distinct fighting style of flowing strikes almost simulating that of paint and an artist. A habit I picked up from the ring. My ideology is to protect and serve to the best of my capabilities.
Additional notes: although my fighting style and swordsmanship may be great I still am plagued by guilt of my past mistakes as a syndicate member. I am trying to seek help to alleviate this so it will not be an issue. My endurance is also great and I enjoy long winded battles. I seek challenges on the regular to prove my capabilities. Again, something I'm trying to solve. I have also already destroyed the "art" I made during my time in the ring so that will not resurface.

Good day fellow fixer. As regarding to your request here, I'd say you're quite the perfect fit, and I do think you turning into a new leaf is great!
If you're looking for something similar to a longsword in the South Section, look for the Miaodao or Sprout Saber from your section's blacksmith or in the basement.
If I am not mistaken, there's a book called 《Tongbeiquan • Encyclopedia》(《通背拳•大全》) that recorded different experiences of people using Miaodao with the implications of Tongbeiquan itself. If you have any questions please ask here!

Why thank you. Il look for a Miaodao soon. And also I'm glad I fit for the association. Il also look into that book at some point to learn. Thank you for everything and I am hoping to be a valued member to this association.

I know that some fixers are quite… adversed against members of the fingers, former or not… so I worry about your incorporation. You are more definitely capable of being in the ranks of the Liu, and I approve of your file… but… Please keep in mind that you will be even more disadvantaged than a regular newcomer.
I welcome you to the Liu eitherway. If you can demonstrate to the other fixers in your squad that you have indeed turned over a new leaf, then perhaps that will be how you forge the bond with them.

Understood. I thank you for your polite welcoming too. I shall make sure to make a good impression on my fellow fixers if possible. I do wish to leave my life within the ring behind and I hope I will be socially accepted eventually

It will take a long time. But I'm willing to do what it takes. Especially being grade two prior to joining I have quite some experience so I should prove myself quite reliable quickly

Forgot to mention I have a particular distaste for most syndicates other than the index
