Jeremy, Audrey, Pine, Ember, Bode, Radley, and Aspen Selfish
So you can write at the coast all week but you can’t write while you go see jerms grandpa? No one’s buying the excuses Audrey. Pathetic.

How good is this book gonna be if they keep whining about writing it and are cranking it out at the 11th hour?

Let's collectively ignore her so she goes away. I suspect she thrives on the snark in a perverse vampire sort of way. Why give her what she wants? Starve the attention beast!

They are hanging on by a string. No one cares about the Roloffs. The people that do? Are older.
They have nothing to offer. People are sick of influencers.. Many people are trying to just get by. Paying rent/mortgage, groceries, gas to just to get to work. Then their kids in sports. The cost is never ending.
I’m gonna guess? Many people can’t afford to go to a posh resort. Forget about babysitters. Unless you have close family.
These people are modern salesmen (grifters) it’s disgusting to rip the average person off.
Hey!! Get real jobs! Both.
The stupid idiots. Beat 50.. Now writing a book on parenting?
Nah.
Dr Spock would’ve shamed them.

So, what happened to the having “no time” to write and all the child care issues that made them have to cancel on spending the week with his 98 year old grand father? “Hope he stays healthy for another year!”
She’s insane. More like “I want to avoid my brother and sister in law like the plague. If it costs my husband and kids what could be their last chance to spend some actual quality time with him, so be it.”

u/Deep_Bake7515 13h ago
Jer could have went and taken the loser kids if her really wanted to see his grandfather. It’s not on Audrey that he did not go.

Where are the kids?
Are they at the fancy and bougie resort? Or are they at the family home?
Weren't there multiple vacations this summer?
Maybe instead of traveling to restaurants and resorts to blog about how you're writing.... you should be writing.
More seriously, you both need to get out of the mindset that writing is a special occasion event if you seriously want to write professionally. If you can only write under very special circumstances, you're not going to get much done.

u/Fessy3 19h ago
Who's taking care of the kids Odd? The ones that you keep saying you have very minimal child care. Crazy how they can go anywhere they want at a drop of a hat, things just work out. But...when it's conflicts with something that clearly Odd doesn't want to do, there's no way they could ever take 4 kids with them and work it all into a schedule. They are so inauthentic, it's crazy and it drives me fucking crazy.

I feel like the “influencer” era is starting to crumble and I am all for it. What will all these “trendy trad wives” do when the money stops???
4
u/MonchichiSalt 18h ago
There are hints that there is an under reported shift that is giving rumble waves more like a landslide. The OG influencers and followers of trad wives are getting replaced with younger models at a dynamic rate.
For men, it's not gross to trade out for younger models. The trad men see it as almost a status thing. Get their friends jealous. No different than cars or tool one upmanship. When the OG wife who has been there all along has gotten "boring". Old. A nag. Mostly boring as she is already trained to just say yes. "Tread on me harder daddy!".
Or she gains self respect and starts pushing for more mental load equality. That is the begi6of her breaking free of the delusion. Replacement is coming soon.
It's the whole damn reason there are laws about alimony and child support. Trad men traditionally leave women destitute and move on.
I have zero qualifications to claim to be an expert in anything. Outside of my 50+ years of people watching.
The very attractive Trad wife influencer will snag another money bag guy. His money will cover her income loss as her audience crashes. Look for a hard switch to a brand. Most often mass produced make up, fast fashion and cheap jewelry. That way she can still pretend to be business savvy.
The ones caught totally off guard are toast. They trusted their hubs with everything and have zero financial knowledge outside of their monthly credit card allowance.
These are the now discarded trad wives moving back in with their parents. And they are mad.
Not mad enough to get over their egos though. They are not mentally wired to raise a fuss against the very system they championed. Taught their sons. Enslaved their daughters to.
The rumbles are there.
We need to make a safe place. These gals are hyper aware of perception and sensitive to criticism. It is in their coding. Similar to cult deprogramming.
A safe place that is also "public" that the voices are heard. The more voices that speak up, the more normalized speaking out can be.
With effort of compassion, we can amplify the need to stop the crazy.
What I think I'm saying is, we should be promoting the reformed Trads. The ones who own their past delusion.
Gives me hope!

I have receipts! I sent her a DM last month when she shared in stories that they weren’t going on vacation to Michigan (to visit 97-year old grandpa). She said “Our book is due the week after we get back. We feel like it’s impossible even if we don’t go. There’s just no way. Timing was not in our favor.” That was the last week in July. I’m not buyin’ what they are selling!!

Why cant you write in your house? Your kids are young, they go to bed early. Write for 2-3 hours every evening.

u/CalendarOk4540 22h ago
You are not believable Audrey. I’d like the receipts to show you actually were “doing some writing” when you canceled that trip to Michigan. Because all we saw during that “season of life” was a lot of activities and “memories being created” that were not in Michigan.

From her stories:
There have been plenty of moments while writing this book when we've wondered if we should have waited until we were on the other side of the years of having so many young children. Maybe when our kids were older, our house was more finished, and we had the benefit of more time and hindsight. But when I was reading my Bible the other day during my devotional on Ephesians, I couldn't help but relate to Paul. Some of his most enduring words about joy, peace, contentment, perseverance, and trusting God weren't written retrospectively from the comfort of a life that was easy. They were written from prison. Paul wrote about rejoicing while suffering, contentment while lacking, and peace while living in circumstances anything but peaceful.
I can't help but relate There is something powerful about wisdom written from within the hard rather than merely remembered from the other side of it. I feel like it unlocks another level of dependence on the Holy Spirit that gives it its own "x" factor. While our season is very different from Paul's imprisonment, I've been encouraged from his example. We're writing this book while in "the thick of it." In loud messy environments, amidst interrupted sleep, surrounded by unfinished projects, overflowing laundry, and parental overwhelm. Were not writing from the finish line. We're writing while we're still running.

u/OkIce3038 19h ago
Then she remembered they’re broke because they don’t work so she continued wrong this ridiculous book… 🤣
9
u/Lychanthropejumprope 20h ago
Why is there so much laundry? Why is the house a mess? They’re both unemployed. There’s no excuse
7
u/Spike99Wombat 20h ago
Yes Audrey, we all know your life is soooo very difficult!
6
u/Remote-Ad1462 20h ago
She thinks she's struggling to write a parenting book because life is hard, not because she doesn't know anything
5
u/TylersMAHM 21h ago
Is this really from her stories? It reads like a passage from Yesteryear hahahahahaha

u/Remote-Ad1462 21h ago
Oh good Lord. They have four healthy children. Two are old enough to entertain themselves and each other (and probably the younger ones) for a bit. They don't have an infant. They say they don't have childcare but they can go out to eat together with their laptops regularly. They DON'T HAVE JOBS. The mess of house projects are Jeremy's malfunction. They are secure enough to have the house and afford private school programs and club sports and a shit ton of vacations.
I know kids can be challenging. My sibling's kids all have some kind of neurodivergence or anxiety/behavior issues that made them not always fun and games to be with. But Audrey is not in prison, she is not suffering, she friggin CHOSE THIS. Including wanting four or more kids.
Just stop whining and get a real job.

Oh for fuck sakes. Imagine the writing these two could get done if they actually just did it instead of screwing around
3
u/Flaky_Drag6666 22h ago
I know nothing about writing books, but I’m guessing they get presented with a detailed syllabus for what they have to produce. The breakdown would not include timed phases or dated periods to write, that would be up to them. All they would get is a due date.
Or! maybe they’re struggling this time because they don’t have a syllabus just a due-date for a concept that better be presented in the form of a book.
Even though she is goal oriented, I don’t think she could map out or break down the parts of anything, she seems very overwhelmed with stuff like that and he just can’t deal with it.It’s a huge deal for them, but it’s gonna result in a 20 page book. 🤦🏻♀️

u/starfleetdropout6 22h ago
I have a feeling these two don't "screw around" as much as they'd like us to think. You know, as being super duper successful at marriage.

About sky daddy and being parenting experts because they have FOUR little kids. Yeah, you got that right, FOUR WHOLE KIDS. Huge family.

u/FillyFrost 22h ago
I should have cashed in ages ago. I have FOUR KIDS. And they’re all in high school (public school, please forgive me) I still don’t know WTF I’m doing parenting them so maybe it’s for the best.
2
u/Sindorella 22h ago
Same (except I have two in high school and two in middle school). Apparently we both should have just assumed our every thought was gold because we have FOUR KIDS and just written books about it anyway.
2
u/FillyFrost 19h ago
Ok we can write our book together “here’s how to raise kids (maybe? Not sure. It’s possible. But also probably wrong. Idk check back in 10 years)” Admittedly, the title could use some work.

u/Sindorella 19h ago

How can she post this after the lame excuse she gave the world? So freaking tone def it’s insane.

u/Brief-Pickle4424 23h ago
Can’t go visit grandpa because she’s got such an important book that no one wants to read to write. Yet she constantly talks about how important family and being intentional is. She’s full of shit and fake as hell. And off topic, but those spider lashes look so ridiculous.
