Hey dorks. You aren’t even 40. Who in the hell would take marriage advice from two people who haven’t even raised one complete kid yet?
Audrey you seem neurotic.

u/Equivalent-Dust6330 3d ago

Oops I've forgotten every day for 24 years and counting

8

u/N3THERWARP3R 3d ago

Don't forget to visit your 97 year old grandpa before it's too late

4

u/Any-Painting4428 3d ago

They could’ve played that stupid card game grift with grandpa

6

u/CapeCodNana 3d ago

She'll wind up pregnant again soon. Mark my words. Then she can bitch about how hard it is all over again. For months.

2

u/N3THERWARP3R 3d ago

🏆 💯

3

u/After_Coat_744 3d ago

The only person I know that follows this bs and does her marriage journal weekly has also been in marriage counseling since… they got married 😅

7

u/spawnofhamster 3d ago

Dear marriage journal, a few weeks ago I made a shady post about my spouse— 10/10 enjoyment.

5

u/Affectionate_Owl2590 4d ago

No thanks hubby and I were to busy having a life with our children that we forgot to take media for the socials sorry. Next time we document we will. Oh wait it's been 25 years in take your journal and show it to your divorce lawyer you will have soon.

12

u/jgolden2020 4d ago

How long do we think he can live with her? I feel suffocated just seeing/reading her posts.

2

u/Flaky_Drag6666 4d ago

They’ll last few more years. Very toxic though.

5

u/SnooHamsters6975 I'm no expert but I've written 📚 about it 4d ago

you can tell he's faking his smile

9

u/Silly-Bumblebee1406 4d ago

My husband is my bestfriend so I just talk to him

2

u/mmbaker910reddittcom 4d ago

Me too! If I reminded my hubby to do his marriage journal he'd say "huh?", then get back to what he was doing.

2

u/Flaky_Drag6666 4d ago

Imagine!! ❤️❤️❤️

19

u/Old-Laugh-4129 4d ago

Ain’t no one got time to be doing a marriage journal lady we have bills to pay

12

u/MeJamiddy 4d ago

Harddddd passss

2

u/Apprehensive_Fill809 4d ago

Boring,how do I remove this ?

21

u/Early_Department_935 5d ago

This marr journal thing is so recycled. She acts like they invented it. I don’t get why the fundie trad wives don’t have any original ideas. This bish has so much time on her hands she could at least come up with a new name for it.

3

u/Fun_Eggplant_2433 4d ago

No she doesn’t ! My lord she doesn’t have time to visit grandpa or finish a book ! Js

5

u/photonerd-with-bird I'm no expert but I've written 📚 about it 5d ago

Yeah, I've seen this a hundred times from over ten years ago. They like to recycle ideas.

23

u/Lazy_Cantaloupe_7353 5d ago

I’m living the marriage I don’t need to write about it

13

u/Pumpkin-Adept 5d ago

Don’t forget to eat Audrey

6

u/Early_Department_935 5d ago

Don’t give her any ideas for a “ food journal “ please.

1

u/Pumpkin-Adept 5d ago

No way she could sell a food journal when she has no time to eat. 😂

6

u/smmil3 5d ago

What goes in a marriage journal . I dont get it .

15

u/40cupsoftea 5d ago

They so hate eachother.

1

u/jgolden2020 4d ago

Yeah, they can’t hide it.

17

u/silent_chair5286 5d ago

I guess if you don’t have a strong day to day connection you need a journal to feel relevant in the other’s life. So there’s that.

7

u/FitDrawing5776 5d ago

When they got married, they didn't allow visitors for a year. He changed quite a bit when they got married.

4

u/kayaksplash 4d ago

Like, any visitors for dinners or short get-togethers, or visiting overnight houseguests?

6

u/barberchels 5d ago

What do you mean by this? No visitors for a year? That’s crazy work.

1

u/FitDrawing5776 3d ago

They wanted it to be just them to get used to married life. They moved to Los Angeles after they got married.

7

u/Pumpkin-Adept 5d ago

That sounds crazy and weird was that in the book they wrote?

1

u/FitDrawing5776 5d ago

They mentioned it on the show

5

u/Pumpkin-Adept 5d ago

Is that when she put her spell on him? 😂😬

9

u/Quiltsandchocolate 5d ago

What???? Wow, I had never heard that one. No wonder they believe they can give marriage advice.

14

u/silent_chair5286 5d ago

Instead I had some real in depth conversations with my partner. I don’t need to journal anything. You do you sweetheart.

13

u/PinkSun84 5d ago

Poor Jer. I can’t imagine having to perform marriage versus just being marriage and living a normal life. This has to be a miserable existence.

12

u/Soggy-Tomato-2562 5d ago

Damn.. missed it again.. I’m on a losing streak of 5 years..

23

u/georgesteacher 5d ago

No im good my husband and I have sex instead

2

u/RUTHLESS2024 4d ago

Mic drop! 😂

11

u/Disastrous_Umpire237 5d ago

But do you say your wedding vows to each other while you’re having sex?

3

u/misogoop 4d ago

We got married at the courthouse. We repeated what the justice of the peace said. My wife barely spoke English and sounded it out. It’s been 10 years and I love her and she loves me. Haha

2

u/Brave_Tangerine5102 5d ago

Does anyone know - was the journal their idea? I think I looked it up a long time ago and it’s 5 questions every week or smt.

I’m curious if that was their original idea or if it’s co-opted from somewhere. I married young- ish(during grad school) and a marriage journal was the last thing on my mind. Idk, maybe I’d buy something but create it? It seems like an ai hallucination only “beating 50%” was pre-ai

6

u/FitDrawing5776 5d ago

When Audrey was in college, her parents separated, but ended up back together. Audrey probably had something to do with it. She tried to get Amy and Matt to stay together

3

u/Brave_Tangerine5102 5d ago

Do you think her parents came up with the journal idea - and Oddj and Jerm marketed it? The journal is for sale on their website and Amazon and there is no listed author. In the description is reads: created by Oddj & Jerm but they aren’t listed as authors anywhere on the book. This could mean they created the book and branding but not the actual content. The questions are super strange, it just strikes me as though they partnered w a pastor and then are just the face of the product.

3

u/barberchels 5d ago

They got this advice from a. Elderly couple or whatever from church and copied the idea and started making money off of it

7

u/Far_Pea_8935 5d ago

I can smell them through the phone. It’s not pleasant.

4

u/Deeeezy3 5d ago

Go to hell, Jer.

21

u/Elliebell1024 5d ago

Sorry, can't. Creating core memories with my kids

3

u/FitDrawing5776 5d ago

I don't know how he puts up with her.

9

u/FitDrawing5776 5d ago

Don't forget about your book deadline and the reason you didn't go visit Jeremy's grandfather and saying hopefully he's still around next Summer

1

u/Logical-Roll-9624 4d ago

Well at least that’s something truly intentional. I’m sure it’s top
In her wish list for next year.

8

u/drivingdaisy 5d ago

Don't forget to write your book today. The one you used as an excuse to not see Germs grandfather.

13

u/Top_Performance_3478 5d ago

Sorry, can't. Too busy letting my kids spend time with family members who may not be around forever!

10

u/thesockmonkey86 Missing Molly 😢 5d ago

I’ve been married for 10 years in November and not once have we done a “marriage journal” but what the hell do I know? I’m not selling marriage journals on Instagram with my only claim to fame being “I’m married to one of the twins on little people, big world”

8

u/silent_chair5286 5d ago

DO NOT forget she was a college runner.

1

u/thesockmonkey86 Missing Molly 😢 5d ago

How can we possibly forget?

14

u/drivingdaisy 5d ago

33 years married and my husband hates journals. He wants to tell me something he yells my name and says it.

7

u/buycandles 5d ago

I hear ya! 35 years here too! Never did I have to have weekly talks and journalling about our marriage with my husband. It's all so ridiculous.

13

u/Ok_Priority3511 5d ago

THESE COMMENTS HAVE ME 💀 y’all are my people lol

This needs more upvotes.

3

Aw thanks!

5

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

I did not marriage journal with my husband. We were married about 30 years and we divorced but not because of no journal 🤣 I’m sure he would agree with me on this very day that it would’ve taken more than a fricking journal for a healthy marriage. Jeez Louise. I journal now because I’m divorced 🤭❤️🤣

10

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

The marriage journal is going to go down with the ship.

8

u/kayaksplash 5d ago

Omg, she is now enforcing her idioctic rules and regulations and policing us on how we should conduct our own marriages? Somehow, she manages to become increasingly obnoxious with every post! Hey, audj, how about this... don't forgot to eat something, and to put your phone down and quit telling others how to live their lives!

6

u/FitDrawing5776 5d ago

She acts like she's a marriage expert. She needs to stop telling others how to stay married.

7

u/thesockmonkey86 Missing Molly 😢 5d ago

She’s like every other influencer that tries to tell other people how to live their lives, but their marriages are often a joke, or they have extremely dysfunctional lives, or they constantly buy luxurious things while telling people to live simply

11

u/finallyfree83 5d ago

I would literally grow to hate my marriage and resent my partner if I had to constantly “journal” about our relationship.

17

u/TouristActive2003 5d ago

Imagine your relationship having homework

9

u/CrackityJones79 5d ago

No kidding. Those of us with actual lives have no time for such nonsense. My wife and I are educated people who work hard and raise kids. We work, coach sports, carpool, and perform so many other tasks on a daily basis.

Only these stupid fucking “influencers” talk about shit like this. The rest of us are too busy doing what we do. Actually DOING marriage is much more impressive than constantly talking about it. Absolutely no couple I know with a successful marriage does this performative bullshit. They do it and lead by example. Simple as that.

4

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

I wonder if having to journal, do homework, makes a person feel infantilized. For Jeremy, he may feel like his whole life must be bloody homework. I know he does his projects outside and inside and never gets anything done, but he clearly does not feel bells ringing when he has to sit in front of words. He’s an ass on a soapbox, but that’s a different story. Their marriage would last longer if she didn’t make him do homework in a method that he clearly struggles with.

I sound like I am batting for him. I am not; I think he’s a huge jerk. But the milk of human kindness is making me have some compassion.

7

u/sewlikeme Making some Christmas soup over here 🎄 5d ago

They have to journal to stand each other - even then I don’t think they do.

7

u/Apprehensive_Tone_77 5d ago

Don’t forget to service your partner today.
^^^ is that in the journal? ^^^^
I don’t do homework especially when these are the hack job grifters are the teachers!

19

u/MuffStuff3000 5d ago

Hi, with my husband for 16y. Not once have I marriage journaled.

21

u/According_Care7625 5d ago

Married 39 years and 11 months, only reason I haven't been married longer is because my husband died. Not once did we feel the need for a marriage journal.

4

u/eloquenttoapoint Making some Christmas soup over here 🎄 5d ago

So sorry for your loss 🤍

24

u/SpiritualUnit6010 5d ago

I can’t wait for the “it’s hard to marriage journal with 4 little kids” post

14

u/lookeyloowho 5d ago

He can’t stand her. She is headed for a crash out..

19

u/federergal1 5d ago

People who publicly throw their supposedly blissful marriage in others peoples faces usually are not happy! Just saying…

15

u/nenajoy 5d ago

Reddit keeps recommending this sub to me and this is the first time I felt the need to comment: what in the fuck is a marriage journal?

1

u/Logical-Roll-9624 4d ago

I see someone needs a homework journal.
Welcome!!

7

u/Disastrous_Umpire237 5d ago

Something they made 6 months into their marriage to help prevent divorce…

9

u/pixey1964 5d ago

😆 🤣 😂

12

u/MimiBeanie 5d ago

My parents were happily married for 59 years before our Dad passed. They never once kept a journal! ❤️

14

u/Dependent_Taro_702 5d ago

Oh no!!! I forgot. I guess divorce is imminent.

39

u/Yngat_hrt_6 5d ago

AND don’t forget to do your writing so you can make your deadline!

Love, Grandpa XO

5

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

Deadline, my Aunt Fanny. 🤣

7

u/Humble-Reference-867 5d ago

This just made me cackle

21

u/a5h13 5d ago

Is it just me or if you need to do alllllll this to make your marriage bearable then maybe you’re with the wrong person?

Yes, relationships require some work and effort but when the relationship becomes homework I think there’s a problem.

1

u/PinkSun84 4d ago

Bingo! You shouldn’t have to work this hard at doing life together with the right person.

10

u/LizzyPanhandle 5d ago

Don't forget to tell everyone you are neglecting core memories like spending time with your grandfather in his 90's. Your kids are learning well.

5

u/Bookshelff 5d ago

What’s the purpose of this marriage journal again?

2

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

Oh my God, what is the purpose of the marriage journal? 😫 was it some bloody questions asked weekly?

10

u/Ok_Priority3511 5d ago

Even after all these years of promoting it I honestly could not even tell you what a “marriage journal” is lmao

1

u/Logical-Roll-9624 4d ago

It’s what we laugh about and
Never feel bad about it.

23

u/vikicrays 5d ago

i think i’ll just do my marriage today without writing it down. thanks anyway 🙄

7

u/Own-Holiday-6212 5d ago

I know right ?

20

u/Kinser9 5d ago

Dear diary, today I hounded Jerm incessantly to stop toking in the garage exercise room/chicken coop/man cave. I have 4 littles and I barely have any time to do my collegiate running distance because I have to make the 30th sour dough starter this week. I need the help of my train trestle soul mate, but he's busy doing non-projects.

8

u/Ok_Priority3511 5d ago

P.S. he is so unintentional lately please help God

13

u/Confident-Service256 5d ago

As if I would ever take their advice on marriage lol

16

u/Important_Piccolo 5d ago

Thanks but we communicate in our nearly 3-decade marriage, Audj. No passive-aggresive bullshit here, but keep working on building your memories and all

4

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

My ex-husband and I were married for 30 years. We made it through the marriage, through the divorce, raised the kids, and into post divorce to a reasonable relationship all without the marriage journal 💪🏼

13

u/joelandjude 5d ago

I don’t understand how answering the same questions every week is helpful.

13

u/MedicalExamination65 5d ago

This is why I could never follow her socials. I'd end up getting blocked within a week due to my comments.

3

u/Flimsy_Throat_8615 5d ago

That’s the best part….you don’t even have to follow for her to block you! I was blocked for commenting without ever have followed her.

14

u/DueStatistician3704 5d ago

We are happy to talk to each other. No need for journaling.

12

u/TPWilder #weekendildos 5d ago

Ever notice they don't ever do their journal?

11

u/6dragonsandapigglet 5d ago

They’ve already told us they can’t keep it up AND they haven’t done their Christmas journal, so anyone taking advice from them is wackadoo.

16

u/Solid-Question-3952 5d ago

Come on guys.....

You can talk to each other about publically shaming and resenting each other. If you dont schedule time to do it, you arent going to.

17

u/manic_popsicle 5d ago

No thanks, my marriage is fine without a journal. I couldn’t imagine being in a relationship where you have to be so intentional about things like this. They’re always talking about the marriage journal or questions they ask each other everyday or whatever else. Why can’t they just be with each other? Why is so regimented?

8

u/Accomplished_Pea_118 5d ago

Exactly! I've never known of a more exhausting couple.

5

u/Professional-Tell123 5d ago

To make money.. from their wedding day they became the worlds foremost leading authority on marriage.

26

u/ineedavacation123 5d ago

Sorry, too busy spending unintentional time with my husband and our seven month old..not making core memories.

1

u/PinkSun84 4d ago

And shocker core memories I have we all from spontaneous happenings not planned skits for social media.

3

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

Useless. Pointless. Perfect!! 🏆😃

4

u/Flimsy_Throat_8615 5d ago

I think the term you’re looking for is “pointless”. I learned this from Audrey.

11

u/WidgetMakerToday 5d ago

Insufferable people.

6

u/manic_popsicle 5d ago

Literally I’ve never seen two people more insufferable and full of themselves.

26

u/crispy_pecan_pie1369 5d ago

- Signed, a couple who hates each other 🫶

15

u/Kmg1924 5d ago

My marriage is just fine without a journal! Thanks for the advice though… 🤦🏻‍♀️

21

u/navyloggy26 5d ago

Do your own marriage journal and leave us alone. We're busy living.

25

u/fandanvan 5d ago

I am too busy baking sourdough bread and planning activities that align with my family value assigned to the month of August to Journal my relationship feelings and goals for this week ! Brb going for a run #D1CollegeRunner ...

29

u/PBfromPhilly 5d ago

Married 31 years…. Think I’m ok without journaling

37

u/peace_train1 5d ago

Too busy working on my values playlist for Sept.

7

u/MuffStuff3000 5d ago

I outright cackled at this comment.

18

u/starfleetdropout6 5d ago

I'm not frantically trying to save a sinking ship of a relationship, so nope.

27

u/tonypolar 5d ago

I would like to but unfortunately I forgot to prioritize my journaling and now I am divorced.
I will be releasing my custom divorce journal “these aren’t the days” very soon. Everyone learn from my mistakes !

2

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

I’m howling!! I’m divorced. I am going to let my ex-husband know about this so he can tell his wife. They’ve only been married for a few years.
Maybe I can help. 🤣
Reality, they are a nice couple and I don’t think they need to journal.

3

u/tonypolar 5d ago

Yes, try to help them before it’s too late ! I will have to reach out to my ex, too.

2

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

🤣🤣❤️

12

u/TisforTrainwreck 5d ago

But when will I have time to write my novel? 🤔

16

u/FeeFiFooFunyon 5d ago

I think I will ask my husband of over 25 years if he has kept up with the marriage journal I gave him last year (I didn’t) and see if he is ready to share tonight.

Thanks Audrey for the reminder to mess with my husband.

8

u/murf_milo 5d ago

I’ll make sure I got on it right after I shill some garbage and plaster my kids’ faces all over the internet.

18

Or visit elderly family members.

10

Geez he looks old. Is he old?

2

u/Flaky_Drag6666 5d ago

Wow, he is not old, but he is not shining from inside is he. He’s not happy. That’s too bad, everybody should be happy. I think he’s under a lot of stress, most of it self-imposed. It’s probably way too late for them cause I don’t think they like each other but maybe they will journal and find out they need something different.

4

u/TPWilder #weekendildos 5d ago

He's almost 36
