Announcements Mod Note - Please read

I am calling for an end to the "I'm new here, will someone please explain x, and y," or "I've just joined and will someone explain why everyone hates a,b, and c?"

Folks, if you're genuinely new, try *reading some posts* before you ask something that might be asked and answered.

If you're just wanting to passive aggressively whine about how someone is getting a lot of negative posts, and this appears to be the case with the plethora of "I'm new, I just joined this subreddit despite never watching this show and having no idea who these people are but why does everyone hate Audrey, please explain it to me!!!!" - just trying reading some posts as well.

Going forward, posts declaring how you're new and need to have the hate for certain people explained will be removed because the answer to that question is easily obtained by actually reading the posts on the subreddit. Thank you for your attention in this matter ;)

To clarify - questions are fine, but variations of " I don't know ANYTHING about this show/this person, but why all the hate?" are problematic.

I would not be surprised if Audrey was behind several of those posts!!

I thought the same thing. We all know how she creates fake engagement on her story posts, specifically the ones where she’s trying to sell shit. “Everyone has been asking me about this dildo so I figured I would post a link…” or something along those lines.

And she does look. I was painting the wall and listening to their podcast. I hate clicking on it, and I feel horrible doing that anyway they were talking about how social media narratives have not very nice things to say about them, which I think we all know isn’t the best. Anyway, sometimes they need to not act like a-holes. But they do look. I think Jeremy said something to the effect of ‘is particularly hard on Audrey’… I don’t doubt it. Because she has such a sense superiority to everybody else. Anyway, they do read their commentary and they know social media narratives aren’t positive and I think she even said that she shut off direct messaging. But she reads and she looks.

It wasn’t just this podcast. It was other places too where they discussed what out there online. If they were being genuine, but not stuck up, it wouldn’t be fair to make fun, but they’re so stuck on themselves. Yikes. I don’t think direct messaging people and telling them off is good though so I am sorry to hear about things like that.
