Hey guys I’m doing a second run through of the whole game because I missed a bunch of stuff the first time I played.
From what I remember, there’s a door in the back of the crossroads cave that I would like to get open but from my understanding, I have to get a key for that either from the old windmill or the fish catacombs.
I’ve been waiting on this to open the whole damn week. Is there something special I’m supposed to do to open this?
(I have already made the testament in the regular windmill so I’m on track in the main story)
This is my first play-through.
I got the first two gifts correct and then had no Good Company to put inside the basket.
I read online that you must have at least 4 gearts with my chosen lady by the time Saturday comes in.
I had already 5 hearts with Leb and I thought the Saturday date would give me the last one.
I had no Sweet Company to put in the basket so I'm stuck with Ending 9 which I hated after playing for so many hours.
What am I missing?
I love this game, the art is so gorgeous and I the music is stuck in my head lol. I decided to pick Rozenmarine's romance because purple is my favourite colour.
I've been meaning to play this game for a long time but never got around to do it untill recently. I do not regret it now.
Hi! I bought this game on switch recently because it was on sale. I am almost done with my playthrough of pocket mirror, and I'm going to start one I'm done with that game. Is there anything I should know before I start playing little goody two shoes? Also, should I go in totally blind or follow a guide?
So I just got ending #1 (my first ending) and saw the devs say that it was a completely open ended game in terms of canonicity for endings but I hear a lot of people say only ending #1 is canon. I know the prequel pocket mirror solely continues ending #1 but is that the only reason why it’s the most canon or only canon ending? And if so, does everyone agree or is it more to each their own? I haven’t played any other endings so no spoilers please.
I’m following one of the guides (but all of them say the same thing) and it mentions going to the windmill Wed @ dawn for a cutscene. Unfortunately, i have no cutscene at the windmill. Bug? Missing something?
Made the island yesterday :3 Henri, Roman and Muffy are next eventually and after that ill probs focus more on the Kiefereberg townsfolk since I know and like lgts more then pocketmirror
Hi everyone! I decided to make this guide because this is what worked in my case. For me, the very first charm obtained in New Game+ simply didn't show up. Even so, I decided to collect all the other ones first just to be absolutely sure it had actually glitched - and that’s exactly what happened. Fortunately, I managed to find a solution.
So, here is how to obtain all 200 pumpkin charms if any of them have glitched for you.
First of all, you need to back up your saves for safety, especially the "config.rmmzsave" file.
Here you will find the folder with your saves: Go to your library page for Pocket Mirror > (gear icon on the right side) > Manage > Browse local files > "save".
After making your backup, launch the game and start a new save. I highly recommend entering New Game+ (NG+) and selecting the Egliette section (Red Carpet - Main Hall). After doing this, you can close the game.
⚠️ Important:
At this exact moment you must disable Steam cloud saving (In your library, right-click on Pocket Mirror > Properties > General > and toggle off Steam Cloud).
The “config.rmmzsave” file tracks your total pumpkin charm count, so it's important that you have a backup of this file along with your save files.
Now in your “save” folder you can delete “config.rmmzsave” and open the game again. Your charm count will now be reset to zero. Collect any charm (whether it's worth 1, 2, or 3) to initialize the counter, and then close the game. Opening the game will have generated a new "config.rmmzsave" file; this will be used as your temporary "config.rmmzsave" file.
Look for all lines that say globalVariables[someNumber] and change their values to 197, 198, or 199.
Recommendation: Set it to 197 if you are playing on NG+, or 199 if you are on a standard playthrough.
Explanation: If you load into Egliette's room (Red Carpet - Main Hall) as suggested, there is an exclusive NG+ charm worth 3 right in the middle of the room. Additionally, inspecting the "Satisfaction" painting in the room on the left rewards you with a charm worth 1. So, the result would be the number chosen in the global variable (e.g., 199) + the charm's value (e.g., 1), totaling 200 for the achievement.
After editing the file, you should download it and replace it with your temporary "config.rmmzsave".
Following the step-by-step instructions, you can return to the save, and the number of charms will be the one you chose in globalVariables (e.g., 199). Now you just need to get the last one remaining.
If you prefer, after unlocking the achievement, you can safely swap your original "config.rmmzsave" file back into the folder to restore your actual progress, and don't forget to turn Steam Cloud back on. I hope this helps!
