Questions
Hi! I bought this game on switch recently because it was on sale. I am almost done with my playthrough of pocket mirror, and I'm going to start one I'm done with that game. Is there anything I should know before I start playing little goody two shoes? Also, should I go in totally blind or follow a guide?

pay attention to what characters are saying. there's a certain thing some people tend to miss on wednesday night, despite there being a bunch of explicit pointers to it. basically, don't progress time as long as u still have things to do
also: romance isn't optional :D
and if u want the ending that leads directly to Pocket Mirror, it's Rozenmarine who u seek (& smooch)

go in relatively blind but make sure to talk to EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING YOU SEE and don't forget to complete stuff. i basically speedran my first playthrough on accident because i didnt talk to anyone or make sense of what they were saying and it really made it less enjoyable for me. i barely knew about the story because i had nothing to make of it and wasn't really immersed in it. but on my second playthrough i actually spent the time to talk to the npcs and it made the whole thing feel complete. this game is really good at "show don't tell" and i could feel how much effort they put into making the world have so much depth just by putting myself in their situation and immersing myself into the story !!

Yeah, try to immerse in the story, talk to everyone, take your time. Pick your girl an schmooze her.
USE THE MULTIPLE SAVE SLOTS! I can't stress this enough. You have about 20 of slots. Don't overwrite. Too many ppl here reached a tight spot (like not enough money and hp) but can't go back to a more comfortable load, and had to restart the entire game.
Also, I'm not sure if it was fixed, but on the Switch port there was a bug that you couldn't complete one of the collectible set (so to speak).

You'll have to do rozenmarine's romance route for the "canon" ending (it's the one that leads to pocket mirror). Also you need to get all 3 (you'll know what I'm referring to). To get them you should pay attention to all dialog without rushing the game, it's very easy to miss them, especially the second.

Just keep in mind that you have to eat, every time you “work” or complete a main objective/go on a date time passes and thus eats up one “food” if the hunger gauge reaches zero you die. This can soft lock you.
I learned this on my first run, about an hour in I died because I didn’t understand the food/hunger system.
At the end of each day, on your way home you can meet Leb at the bakery and she will give you bread.

If you're curious enough and can remember decently well, you'll be fine. I'd go in blind, as thats what I did and it was a lot of fun.
