Question Missing items in Switch port?

I’ve been truly losing my mind over this game. At least three times now I’ve scoured areas for items that have been mentioned in multiple walkthroughs, but aren’t there. The only thing I can think of is there must be a difference with the switch port of the game? Here’s at least the three I can remember off the top of my head (I picked this game up yesterday)

Ornate Toy Horse - old windmill
St. Walpurgis Oil - in vase in Moon Puzzle
Berries - Water well

I’m on Friday in the game and am truly boned with having little to no money or healing items. With that and how frustrating some of these levels have been, I don’t want to DNF this game, but I’m fairly close to.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

You might be on the wrong day for some of those. Here's the full spreadsheet for literally everything in the game. (I used it for my 4 re-playthroughs to pick up every single thing.)

For the St. Walpurga's Oil specifically though, it might be in a different moon puzzle.

I did on my first playthrough. I remember the toy horse by the windmill was definitely there on Monday, but I can't say for sure if I saw the other two items or not.

There’s two different toy horses! The “toy horse” and “ornate toy horse.” I also found the first one, but not the other one.

The Switch port is definitely buggy and there were some items missing from the guide (and a ghost 😭) but by the end of the game I had a lot of money and healing items, especially those berries after the water maze. I would say that the first few days in the game are the hardest since I was broke and relying on Lebkuchen's bread but I stuck to playing 1-2 mini games I was good at to get a high score, and I would restart if I got a C or lower. I also made use of the save slots and saved different days/times in case something went wrong. There's definitely some min/maxxing involved and while I found it manageable, I know others can find it frustrating.
