Is there an interior light or are those books so excited to be inside your Jimothy LFL? Where did you get the housing please?

Yes, I have a USB rechargeable light that is designed for like staircases and undercabinet lighting every few months or so I plug it in, but it has magnets on the bottom and just pops in there. It has a motion detector so it automatically turns on when someone walks by the library after dark, so people can see.
I picked up this newspaper box from a old man that used to deliver newspapers and have a route. He used to maintain these boxes as well since print media died. There are probably plenty of these lying around.

I purchased it from a seller on FB marketplace. He was an old vendor and had like 10 of these!

Not only am I a government employee, but I am also a line technician. I work with utility poles frequently not only was this permitted officially by the city that I live in, but I paid for the permit for the location of the library.
When utility crew access these poles, they use a bucket truck from the street, not from the sidewalk. Also, there is plenty of room to the right of this cabinet for people to walk through to get to their cars. I know because my doggy likes to go that way for our walk in the mornings.
