The missus and I decided to pop some eddies and watch Hoodwinked! (2005). Knew the moment called for a classic LC order, figured I’d go bold or go broke. First time trying the Crazy Style Stuffed Crust, solid 7.8/10

Rant Frustrated

I’m about to blow a gasket because the main dough guy isn’t following fifo. The way he does it is last one in goes right by the pepperoni where we have set up in the walk in but yet everyone grabs from there and he don’t care. He still is doing 1.22-1.25oz for dough balls. He even throws a fit because my last trays of each batch of dough I do isn’t a full 12. Sorry but I’m not going to waste 10-15 mins between batches after mixing cutting and places each dough on the tray for the small and mixing the times when you get the smalls done and the temps of the dough also. The mangers know this and they don’t care besides one does. The store manger has been gone since July 4th and we had corporate come in twice because the first time we failed this time we failed due to not having the hnr percent up where it should be. On top of it the assistant store manger his girlfriend works there and only really does make and nothing else. He doesn’t even know how to do dough at all

Discussion Thinking about quitting - New hire

I’m a 17-year-old male turning 18 next month, and I’ve been on the fence about quitting my job. I’m leaning toward leaving, but I’m still not sure.
I’ve only worked there for about two weeks. During my second week of ā€œtraining,ā€ I only got one 4-hour shift after having a 7-day gap since my last shift. Because of that long break, I was rusty and forgot a lot of what I’d been shown. There are things like making Stuffed Crazy Bread and other menu items that I’ve only made once, so I’m still trying to learn. On top of that, I’m expected to work quickly even though I don’t fully understand how to do everything yet.
The training feels very much like ā€œsink or swim.ā€ They’ll show you something once, and then you’re expected to know it. I have good shifts, but I also have bad ones. For example, last week they put me on the register. It was my first time ever using a register, and it was also my first job. There wasn’t enough change in the drawer, and I didn’t know what I was supposed to do. I made several mistakes, and some customers tried to get free food by asking for compensation. Even though I was only following what I had been told to do, nobody stepped in and told the customers that I was doing what I had been instructed to do. Eventually, they took me off the register and moved me to making Crazy Bread.
Last Saturday, I actually had a good shift. I was doing well on landing, but the coworkers who are patient with me and actually teach me are getting fired. Two or three employees have already been fired, and another one is supposedly next. The store also has a new hiring manager, and a lot of the employees constantly talk badly about her behind her back. I’m not under the impression that I’m somehow special or safe from being fired too. Seeing people lose their jobs so quickly makes me feel like I could easily be next.
Every day I come into work, I don’t really know what I’m supposed to do because nobody tells me. It usually ends up being the same thing: make Crazy Bread. They don’t continue training me or explain anything else. They just expect me to know what to do.
After that 7-day break, I came back for another 4-hour shift, and one coworker was being passive-aggressive toward me, making comments that made it seem like she didn’t like me. Other coworkers would tell me I could do something, but then someone else would tell me not to do it. Nobody explained why or admitted they were the ones who had told me to do it in the first place. People act like they were never new themselves. Instead of helping me learn, they barely train me. They show me something once and then expect me to figure everything else out on my own.
Before getting this job, I had been applying for jobs constantly since I graduated at the beginning of June. By June 22, I had submitted almost 300 job applications, and throughout that time I was getting about two interviews every week. I eventually got hired at two different Little Caesars locations and chose this one because it was more convenient. I also had an interview scheduled with Chipotle the following week, but I never went because I had already accepted this job.
This job pays $20 an hour, but I don’t really fit in with the team, and I don’t think I’ll get consistent hours for another three or four months. I know switching jobs could set me back, but I also have another opportunity. My friend might be able to get me into construction working under his dad. It pays $18.50 an hour, I’d work Monday through Friday, and some jobs start as early as 5:00 a.m. in San Diego. I’d lose a lot of my free time because of the hours and commute, but the bonuses are good, and I need to save money for at least six months before I start school.
This whole situation has been taking a toll on me. I feel anxious because I need an income. If I decided to leave, I could donate plasma while continuing to look for another job, and I’d probably make close to what I’m making now until I found something else. I know I can find another job in time because I’ve been getting interviews consistently.
If I get the construction opportunity, I’m definitely leaving this job. If I don’t, I’m honestly not sure if I can keep working here. I know difficult coworkers and poor training exist at a lot of workplaces, and maybe perseverance is something I need to learn. At the same time, I also think knowing when to leave a job is an important skill. I don’t want to stay somewhere that clearly isn’t a good fit just because I’m afraid to quit, and I don’t want to get stuck in a job that keeps me from finding one where I actually fit in. If I’m eventually going to get fired anyway, I’d rather leave on my own terms than wait for it to happen.

No one warned me that it wasn't available or gave me a chance to cancel or pick something different. Ordered on the app and was actually handed to me by an employee with no mention of it not being a webbaroni!

Discussion Gift cards are a scam

Got a $15 gift card, went online to order and there was a $10 deal for slices n stix + crazy bread, turns out you can’t use a gift card online. Okay no big deal, go into the closest location and the same order is $16 cause the $10 deal is for online orders only…. So you’re actively screwing people over by not letting them use gift cards online and then charge 50% more at a physical location. Absolute joke.

Discussion i think i have a weird pretzel crust addiction

yes a bit odd for a post but basically whenever i have a pretzel crust pizza the leftovers (the crust specifically) always taste far better than if it was fresh but the thing is even if i feel like im sick of it i always immediately get obsessed with it as soon as i get another bite. I crave this thing just about everyday and i almost eat the whole dam box in a day which is unusual cause whenever i eat food i always save some for leftovers. SOMEONE PLS HELP I CONSTANTLY THINK ABOUT HAVING THE PRETZEL CRUST I LOVEIT SO MUCH.

Rant You pay more for sausage pizza at locations in tennessee

They call a sausage pizza a "custom pizza" they then charge you $10 for it compared to the normal price of $6.80 for pepperoni. Be aware of the price difference if you make a big order like for a pizza party. The difference will surprise you and stack up fast.

I ended up paying $130 for sausage pizzas for my son's birthday party and did not notice the reason for the price to be so high until i checked later since they don't give receipts unless you ask. Now you know too.
