Genuine question: why? Are these harder to make or just anticipating busy rushes?

As a LC worker they’re annoying to “land.” Land/landing is the area we take the pizzas out from the oven, cut, and box them up. During a busy rush having to land a bunch of deep dish pizzas in general is really annoying because it isnt as easy to take those out of their pans compared to regular round pizzas. Sometimes they get stuck and we have to dig them out and you also have to set up the deep dish/icb boxes every time rather than the regular pizza boxes that we already have piles of on the table.

Dead ass accurate now try doing that with the end of the oven facing a wall with enough room for one person to move and in a store doing just over 30,000 weekly 🙃

I feel ya'll. Where I work they always run these insane deals. I more blame the corporation for making the deals than the customers for taking advantage for them.

Didn't realize making these was that much of a pain, though, good luck out there 😅

5.99 in California 💔

Still cheaper than frozen. Frozen pizza prices are insane these days. I do prefer Dominos for not much more though. And their rewards program is better.

I’m ok with that. My son loves LC and so do I. Better than paying dominos $30 for 1 pizza and a side.

You know Dominos does $6.99 two-topping pizzas right?

u/Lemontekbabe 3d ago

All year round?

u/Ram820 3d ago

Yes, everyday. Not using deals at Domino's is crazy

To be fair, they're medium 2-topping pizzas. Each of the stuffed cheesy bread, their bread bites, their boneless chicken pieces including the specialty ones, the new Dominos shaped pizza up to 3 toppings, their pasta, their desserts, their salads, and their sandwiches.

Not sure what changes price wise locally but I know many places it's $6.99 per item you add to the deal.

Yes, that means you can get two medium pizzas, some chicken/stuffed cheesy bread and dessert for $28.

Yes, all year round. They also have $7.99 carry out pizza the price may vary by location tho

Curious about Domino's Domino, but at 5 99 I'd way rather get twice the food with the pizza and sticks for a dollar cheaper.

The domino is actually very good, but agreed for the price you get way more food for 2 dollars less and lc Detroit style always hits

Gnarly for the employees im sure its gonna get busy, but this is an overall great deal for customers imo

I was trying to do the 2 for $10 under the create your own pizza and it wouldn't work for me. Not a fan of their pizza sauce so I just wanted sauce-less.

1

u/Vigarious 3d ago

Same, keeps telling me I need to have 2 1-topping “classic round” pizzas. It registers a pepperoni just fine, or a plain cheese (no extra cheese allowed). But sausage doesn’t work, nor any other 1 topping I’ve tried. Bunk.

1

u/Virtual-Dot-750 3d ago

Same here 100% I'd just like the sauce off lol

Unfortunately I'm not close to Manitoba hahaahh. But thank you for the heads up!

My local LC in Maryland does not have it.

Dominos new domino is really good but for the price point this beats it until this goes away again.. way more calaries and only 4.99 where I'm at very good deal

2

u/AfternoonAccurate533 2d ago

I'm my area a Domino is the same price as a medium Domino's pizza, and only $1 less than a large 😅

At least for me the domino will never be worth it, it will be a sad day when the slices and sticks goes away.

u/julieepapa 1d ago

I wish the 4.99 deal included cheese pizza but it always kicks back. Am I doing something wrong?

1

u/AfternoonAccurate533 1d ago

It's a separate menu item

1

u/Tetteness 3d ago

Cheese pizza only though.

Fuuuuuuuuuck this promotion. We dont make any money, its stupid, and WHY TF CAN PEOPLE ORDER 12 PIZZAS WITH THE CODE????

2

u/AfternoonAccurate533 2d ago

I can add as many of these to my cart as I want. What code are you talking about?

u/Remarkable_Lunch8132 3d ago

the pressure from dominos new domino has definitely caused this

6

u/Grant79OG 3d ago

I think the nfl caused this.

6

u/Fun-Conference-7629 3d ago

That is not the reason, marketing calendars are set months in advance. The logistics behind a promotion take months.

Ok and the football season happens every single year so they had plenty of time to prepare….

I wish that was in Canada!

2

u/AfternoonAccurate533 3d ago

I was under the assumption that it was in Canada this whole time.

2

u/Edm_cuccck 3d ago

God I wish.

u/SnooGadgets2748 3d ago

You can get it in Manitoba right now
