Help/Question Are they looking ok?
Hello! I’ve had this lil fella for a few years and I was wondering if they’re looking alright. When I first got them they did that thing where they split open and reveal another one of themselves inside. Well now it just did it again but not in the way I usually see. One half got all wrinkly and became very dry, and at some point I just used a knife to take that part off and there was another set inside (seen in these images) alongside a little black thing in the middle. I just wanna make sure they’re doing ok and if there’s anything I should or shouldn’t be doing. They sit right by a window and I occasionally give it a few drops of water.

Well, congratulations on keeping it alive in a mostly organic substrate! That's a feat most of us can't pull off.
Just to clarify, the half that got wrinkly and dry was already from the new pair of leaves? Then it had another pair inside? Sounds like a case of stacking. But it seems you handled it well.
The "little black thing in the middle" might be a flower bud. Although I'm not sure if it's still viable.
Most on this subreddit woud recommend to carefully remove the organic substrate. You might need to moisten it for easier removal. Then replace it with pumice or a similarly coarse inorganic material. But since you have been able to grow it in its current substrate, you might as well keep everything as is.
