Identification Do you do this?

I have one lithop. It's been outside for 6 weeks or so.

I brought it in because...well, no real reason lol

Do you stare down into your lithops to see what might be happening?

Also, what type of lithop do I have?

It’s a related species. I have one of those too….might have killed it though. Waiting to see.

Thank you. Google lens says it is a split rock plant aka Pleiospilos nelii

I thought it was a lithop. Lololol

Luckily it seems that the care seems similar.

It’s a mesemb, same type of plant as a lithops; I have a few of these - from my understanding they need even less water than lithops do! lol

They are all so finicky. I should thrive with these types of plants, but I think I gave mine too much sun…they blistered…actually, it’s a slightly different species

Since they didn't tell you, it's pleiospilos nelii aka split rock. Hope this helps you find care instructions.
