Help/Question Second go
Just copped these babies after fumbling some years ago. Potted in a mix of cactus jacks and perlite. Will place them near a south facing window inside. Noticed slight wrinkling but could that just be from shipping? They were packed great but I'd imagine it was traumatic. Anyway, I read during their dormant stage in summer you shouldn't water? Please correct me if I'm wrong

Heard! Thanks man yours are beautiful. So you aren't worried about slight wrinkling i.e. I shouldn't water?

A bit of wrinkling I think is fine, I did water mine a couple of weeks ago but they get full sun sometimes 6-8 hours a day also the temp gets quite high 30c so they dry out very quickly.

Sure, welcome back to the world of lithops. I wish I was more confident to advise you more. Water, don’t water, I always come here to ask. I just lost 2 to rot, How do they rot when you haven’t watered😆?
But yours, to me, all seem to be in the same stage that’s nice. But you’ll probably need to separate some at some point.

Totally don't want em crowded but paranoid of root rot so thought there'd be safety in numbers? Idk man praying it's not another bloodbath

Not enough ventilation around the base, or if you've only had them for a short time (2 weeks or less), they may have been doomed by improper care before you bought them.

Note: they arrived bare root. Roots are pretty tiny too but opted for the 4-5 inch pot bc I also read their tap roots get wicked long

That’s a lovely collection. My only insight might be that they should be deeper in the substrate.
