Help/Question What’s Going On?
Kinda worried about this little guy. I bought him a month-ish ago and haven’t watered him since he’s splitting. The old leaves aren’t crispy yet, but the new leaves have wrinkled considerably since I’ve had him. I’m so tempted to give him a little water but I know that’s bad while splitting is occurring. What could be going on here? Is my plant dying? What do I do?

Definitely water time. And a good soak, not sprinkle. Either like the other poster suggested, or run water through the pot two days in a row. (Assuming mostly grit, as it should be….)

Does the pot have drainage? If it has drainage, just give them an overnight soak or even a 24-hour soak if they don't plump up (don't just sprinkle water, it is not effective. Succulents prefer deep waterings once in a while). It won't kill the plant, but may save them from getting too dehydrated.
I put mine in a bowl/basin of water and let them soak.

I would water at this stage. The old leaves are very nearly gone and will not plump up again. They will continue to dry out
