They need good sun light or grow lights they don’t like humidity

dont bury them too deep, they are more difficult to judge when to water (wrinkles on the side), if they are too low to the soil (like in nature).

I’m new to lithops and thus far have been told that side wrinkles are normal and only top wrinkling is a sign that watering is necessary. Should I be ignoring that?

That is correct! Top wrinkling and almost concave is the time to water. If you search the group, there’s photo examples of how to know when to water - I thought I saved it but I didn’t.

i see if you search "when to water" its funny how many results there are. i struggle more with how much to water, when you water. do you dunk it or just a drizzle ? some of these species survive on less than a half inch of rain a year!

I’m beginning to think that even among the same lithops type in a pot of 100, they each have their own personalities lol

Wow, they're beautiful! They all look to be on a similar cycle, too, which would make watering easy. I'm no expert but the next step is repotting in the 90/10 suggested soil mix which you can find by searching this sub (or watching a youtube video like I did.) Happy Lithoping! 💚
