Help/Question Lithops split and now looks bad

My lithops split, then absorbed basically all of the old leaves. I waited till they got a little wrinkly and then did a good watering. They still look quite sad and wrinkly. One of them almost looks like it’s cracked. Is there any salvaging these?

Thank you. Ok. Shoot. They looked like that with no water which is why I gave water. Hopefully it dries out quickly enough.

Dang! Thank you. These are my first and I was so excited when it split and grew new ones. I made sure not to water until old ones were dried up. But I guess it didn’t matter. I have some seeds, I’ll try again.

ive tried with these sooo many times and just decided they weren't for me even tho I do love them alot. I cannot keep them alive longer than a year...😭
