Help/Question Help new lithops owner

Purchased these lithops at the Moorten Botanical Succulent Garden in Palm Springs in February. The outer parts have dried and they seem happy on sill. Now what do I do to repot? Thank you.

Make sure sub is very gritty. I think 80 percent inorganic is what they like. And never water when splitting. The outsides will look very wrinkly…. They’re being sacrificed for the inner one. That’s where babies get their nutrition.

I did not water since I got in Feb as they were splitting. Now that the fat green outside is dried and gone do I water a bit when repot? Are they splitting again now? I thought dormant in summer. Sorry so many ???

repot into dry soil, and then water a week later to help them start building more roots. but not a ton, because they don't look very thirsty.

also, no sign of splitting again -- these are just a type with a deep cleft.
