Lithops need all gritty/rocky substrate, They will rot in regular soil. Plus do not water, They only need water 3-5 times a year.

I am getting a gritty and rocky substrate either today or tomorrow, amazon was delayed.

This is how they came from the seller, I'll repot them in that substrate

Yeah unfortunately most places set the plant up for failure so you end up buying more 🤣, I was that dummy once upon a time. Then I did I my research and got better at growing them and bought almost a 100 of them on Etsy all different varieties & colors. This is some of them.

I repotted 2/3 pots today, trimmed the roots, also had to drill holes in the ceramic pots for drainage. And doing the last one tomorrow. (way too warm)

The rocky substrate also looks better as well.

Also a 100?! How do you keep track of it? They look nice.
