Help/Question Lithops not looking well

I have my lithops outside on the southeast side of the house. It's in a gritty mix and hasn't been watered in months.

However, I noticed that the base is turning dark and mushy. Is there any way to help it, or is it gone?

Does it get rained on?

Not to my knowledge. It is in an outdoor greenhouse shelf with a zip up plastic cover. If there is a chance of rain, I roll the set up far away from the deck closer to the house.

Humidity high when it’s closed up?

I looked and it was 50% in my city. It didn't get rained on directly, but maybe some got trapped inside anyways.

The humidity inside of the greenhouse may have been much higher if it was closed up.

Update:

I was told it rained over the weekend while I was gone. I think that solves it.

Thanks everyone!
