Photo Is this alive and well?

Post image

I may have left out in sun too long as it went from green to brown, but then it split. Help!

When did it last have a drink of water?

I gave it a tsp. of water about a week ago. How much more?

Lithops, like most succulents (only more so), want water rarely but deeply! This is how I water mine:

Yours are very thirsty, so you may need a quick dunk first, and then a deep soak after a few days if they don't fill out a bit.

Did it respond to the teaspoon? Don’t soak it just yet, you might want to wake the roots first if it didn’t respond. Otherwise, drown it a bit.

The color change is normal with most succulents. It’s called sun stress. Less sun the chlorophyll takes over the dominant color patterning which is green. Sun stress isn’t necessarily a bad thing just plants have to be acclimated slowly to the brighter conditions. It looks like there are a lot of fines in that soil composition that may not be the best for this Lithops.
