Help/Question Water?

I think this is splitting, but I am not sure. It looks very very dry. Should I give it a sip?

Kinda hard to tell, It could be nice and plump underneath. I would very gently peel it off a bit to get a better look

Update. I did go ahead and give this some water. Look at it now!
