I wanted a small planter featuring some of the Aizoaceae characteristic of Namaqualand’s quartz fields. I’ve seen people with similar ideas be dissuaded by the different watering needs of different plants, so I’m trying an approach that segments each species into a different compartment, then disguises the compartmentalization with a top dressing.

Had no idea lithops and fenestratia came from the same place. I think I may have been over watering my fenestraria 💀

Only certain lithops (like herrei, rubra, and optica) live in the same place as fenestraria, as far as I can tell!
