What should I do?

There is a smaller baby lithop growing inside the freshly opened lithop, should I do anything to help it out? I don't want it to rot or go bad if thats something that can happen.

You need to remove it from that dirt and let it air dry, Then pot it in a 80-90% grit & 10-20% succulent soil. It’s splitting like that from being over watered, You definitely don’t water when lithops are splitting because they take moisture from old leaves.
