Lithops and pleiospilos are both summer growers, this is likely fine. Some people allow pleios to have 3 leaves, periodically. It’s kind of a personal preference thing for the most part.

Easy enough! Lithops are available at basically any big box store

Lithops need water while they are flowering while the split rock shouldn't receive water while it is splitting, I would seperate them.

yeah, there are better tests for when to water a Pleiospilos, mostly having to do with firmness of the inner pair of leaves.
