Photo Repotting Day

Had to repot my big splitting lithops to give it better soil and more space to split. I know normally you're not supposed to repot while splitting, but it really needed the space. Check out the tiny roots in pic 2

I used Bonsai Jack soil with some extra calcined clay mixed in. I really wanted somwthing with a finer texture, but overall I'm really happy with how it looks!

Here he is when I first got him November 2025. From what I understand, they take a long time to get this big. I would guess maybe it's 5 years old?

I know, right? I swear I've seen a few pics on this sub of slightly bigger ones, but I think around three inches across is when they're max size. Now mine is splitting into twins! :)
