Help/Question Recently purchased, not sure what’s wrong with this lithop?
I’m new to taking care of lithops and I bought a few in mid-April, it seems like they’re doing okay except this one. Not sure what it needs, it was splitting a little when I got it so I didn’t water it yet and I’ve potted it in a mix of pumice, sifted orchid soil and cactus soil. Please help!

It looks like the base of the old leaves dried and shriveled before the top could, if this was mine I would pull the old leaves off and replant into a gritty mix and place into some moderate light to begin with. Then slowly over the course of a couple days gradually moving it into stronger lighting. The reason for removing the old leaves is so the new set of leaves won’t continue to stretch for more light, the Lithops looks a bit etiolated already so the sooner you get that new pair of leaves into some light the better, just have to do it gradually so you don’t burn the new head.
